On Father's Day we were in Reptilium Landau . A terrarium desert zoo and the many Argame, snakes, caimans, turtles and lizards houses.
The presentation is very nice, large and nicely laid out the terrarium. The information about the animals found
understandable. The animals are fed during visiting hours, while a zookeeper explains much about the nature and attitude. The children were included and could make the turtles, and lizards that feed into the terrarium.
photography is permitted, but should be done with regard to the animals without a flash.
There is a fast lens really worth gold ....
Admission is € 13.50 pp fairly severe, but justified. The animals must be supplied so.
What is not so great is the catering. The ladies behind the counter were totally disorganized and haphazard. Forever give up long waiting times can be up to his order first. Fortunately, we have noticed that many people wait for over 45 (!) Minutes for a salad or steak sandwiches and their money back required. We then settled for a coffee. Whether this is always the case, I can not answer. Who wants to visit the zoo should get the food might bring or what to eat elsewhere.
All in all it was a beautiful day, but since you have not permanently out.
